carbohydrate macronutrient totals. In other words, since we know traditional
carbohydrates contain 4 calories per gram, protein contains 4 calories per gram and fat contains 9 calories
per gram, we compute what the total number of calories should be and display any
discrepancy as Unaccounted Calories meaning that there appears to be
extra calories in the product that are not being reported within the carbohydrate,
protein and fat values.
