    * Today was the third time i made these brownies. I feel that i wasted $8 this time. The first 2 times i made them, the batter was thin and poured right into the pan, and the brownies turned out moist. Today, the batter was thick like fudge and they turned out very dry, crumbly and tasting like almond. I made them the same way each time, so i feel there must have been more almond flour in the mix. Disappointed that $8 is now wasted because these brownies are inedible.

    * These were dry, fluffy, had a strange tasting sweetness to them, and weren't very chocolaty at all. The best part were the peanuts, sadly. I gave these 3 stars for negligible reasons- A) keeping in mind that they're low-carb; B) they're better than nothing.

    * I have tried regular brownie mix, Caramel Overload and Caramel Pecan Turtle. The regular brownie was very good. The caramel in the caramel overload and the pecan turtle tasted kind of fake. The moistness of the brownies was not as much as I would have liked, but that is not uncommon for low carb baked items.

    * It did make a lot of brownies, but was more like chocolate cake. It also had a funny after taste. They did freeze well. I would not buy again.

    * The brownies were just okay. I followed the directions exactly, but next time will cook for a little less time. They will work for that brownie craving, but I was much more impressed with Dixie's Snackin' Carrot Cake. It was so good that I think my expectations for the brownies were a little high. I will buy them again - and recommend them. Just don't expect a sweet and gooey traditional brownie.
