September 03, 2007Reviewer: Jessica in Missouri* These are not very good. Russel Stover made the best sugar-free chocolate chips, but stopped making them long ago. When I could no longer find those, I found a great mini-chip replacement on this website - but those are not made anymore either. Then, I found the Eat Well Be Well chips on this site that other reviewers have mentioned liking. Those were decent, though not as good as the other two. Alas, those are no longer made either! Why are sugar-free chocolate chips so hard to find? These Carb Counter Chips don't even compare to the other three brands and they are much too large (even though the package advertises "mini" chips). Really not very good, but I still use them because that's all I can find. I hear these are being discontinued as well, so I am on the lookout for yet a fourth brand to start purchasing. I'm giving these a rating of "2" simply because they are better than using no chips at all. Very sad.
