November 06, 2007Reviewer: Alesha in Pennsylvania* I really like these chips. They're big, yes, but seem like "real" chocolate morsels. I had a handful with a few pine nuts last night as a snack, and they really hit the spot for my chocolate craving.
No wonky bathroom stuff, either. No sugar alcohols, all fiber. This works for me!
I've used them in baking as well, and found them to work just like the real thing.
Please do not discontinue these!!!

The larger chips make them a little more difficult to work with but I find 1 or 2 very short pulses in a food processor and they perfect chocolate chip cookie size. Once they are baked, I never have anyone complain about the shape. :) They store in the freezer nicely also.

Anyway, these chips are good, but mine came kind of smooshed and melted so I had to break them up with a hammer to have that mini size. They are very good in baked stuff - like peanut butter cookies made w/ Carbalose flour - my husband loves these and he hates splenda. Anyway, definitely worth buying, make sure to freeze them for longer life.
